Discover regional produce from a collective of producers showcasing the best of Tay Cities Region food and drink in one place. This showcase highlights the richness and diversity of the region’s natural larder, giving hoteliers, chefs and food manufacturers/retailers the chance to meet producers and buy high quality, authentic products who pride themselves on the provenance of their produce and opportunities for strengthening local supply chains.
Food and drink has always been inextricably linked to Scotlands natural environments including rural landscapes and coastal areas but increasingly linked to our vibrant cities and towns. Making connections to these can help visitors to develop a strong sense of place. Visitors spend around £995 million on eating and drinking when on holiday and food tourism offers significant opportunities.
The regions have a rich heritage from soft fruits to potato vodka, with everything from oils, dressings and condiments to artisan chocolate and ice cream and from award-winning meats to traditional bakes and confectionery. You will be able to talk directly to the producers, hear why they are so passionate and their credentials.
